The London Photography Tour for Women Only departed with beautiful weather forecast. We had an amazing time and captured luminious shots filled with filtered light. For better travel photography try and make sculptures come alive. This is how the meramaid sculptures in Trafalgar Square look when the photograph captures them filled with colour and light.

Shadows and Light
The drama of light is a never ending pursuit in photography. Exploring a scene and looking for that, at times, elusive light source. Modern buildings are fantastic for reflecting light. Creating dramatic photographic images by exploring the impact of light, hidden, seen and not seen. Your lens sees more than you – so seek and you will find the light! This image was hand tinted in LightRoom, after converting the original photograph to black and white.

London Photography – Beautiful Bokeh
Shadows and Light
Walking with my camera on London’s South Bank I found this isolated location. Shadow all around me I looked for those fleeting pockets of light. Shimmering light in the background I set a shallow depth of field (f4) and softened and blurred strong highlights into a beautiful bokeh backdrop. Simplicity of shape and design creating abstract photography. Enjoy every creative photography day with your camera!
