London 2012 Banners Flying High
London gets ready for Olympics 2012. The Union Jack craze from the Diamond Jubilee is being replaced with London 2012! Here the banners fly high in Coventry Street all the way along to Piccadilly Circus. All over London the Olympic banners are going up. Orange and purple echo the colours of Olympics 2012. With just 11 days to go London is fast tracking to completion. Recent controversy dominates the news with G4S’s failure to supply all the security staff required for the Olympics. Troops are filling the Olympic gaps in security. Breaking news today as hundreds of police officers are drafted in to secure Olympic sites when G4S security staff fail to turn up to work.
