Another chilly December day and I head out to capture the crisp frost on the land. Another early rise and the sun has not melted the frost, it is eerily quiet and I listen for the sound of life. The frost on the land is silent; I hear no sound, no footsteps, only my breath as I breathe in an out. Breathing in the quiet silence of the land. Sleep seems far off as the chill is in the air and, as I make my way, I hear the frost crack with each step. The world is asleep as I make my way, hearing my breath and my footsteps on the land. Silence is there for us to listen to, listen now and you will hear it. I make my way, hearing my breath and my footsteps on the land. Only I can see this day at this moment and I leave this photograph for you to see it now.
